Missed prayers & fasts
Many of us have prayers or fasts to make up. Count them calmly, then turn the number into a small daily habit. Nothing here is saved unless you sign in, and nobody else ever sees it.
Count each day you did not fast for a reason such as illness, travel, pregnancy, breastfeeding or menstruation, and any you missed without a reason. If you can never fast because of a lasting illness or old age, the Quran speaks of a ransom (fidya) instead: a teacher can tell you how it applies to you.

Whatever the number, the door is open. Start small and keep going: a little that lasts is better than a lot that stops.
The Hanafi school counts witr as necessary (wajib) and makes it up: 852 witr here. The Shafi‘i, Maliki and Hanbali schools consider it a strong sunnah and do not require it.
Most scholars of the four schools say they are made up. Some scholars emphasise sincere repentance and many voluntary prayers instead. Follow your school, or ask.
Order, shortening for travel and the times when praying is disliked differ a little between schools. Your teacher or local imam can guide the details.
